On Sunday April 16th, 2023

experts from Villanova and the Lower Merion community joined

together to study and document Oakwell’s biodiversity at the first ever….

This educational community event was free and open to the public.

All ages were welcome...and they turned up!

Participants were divided into three zones and students of all ages joined them to investigate vertebrates, invertebrates, birds, plants and fungi.

Experts used an app for mapping and sharing information about biodiversity.
